SANNE X MAKERTING

Voor community project ‘de S+oplap’ hielp Makerting ontwerpster Sanne van de Goor met het schrijven van haar marketing- en communicatieplan als onderdeel van haar subsidieaanvraag. Zo kon Sanne specialistische marketing hulp inzetten om dit project onder de aandacht te brengen.

Gefascineerd door de schoonheid en het ambacht van de stoplap bedacht Sanne het project ‘de S+oplap’. De stoplap is een oefenlap waarop tienermeisjes van de 17^e tot de 20^e eeuw leerden om stoppen en bindingen te maken. Sanne koppelde het maken van de stoplap aan tienermeiden van nu. De prints van Sanne werden door de tieners opgevuld met stift, terwijl ze ondertussen in gesprek gingen over onderwerpen als zelfstandigheid, maakbaarheid en perfectie. De installatie van ‘de S+oplap’ bestond uit de opgevulde prints en een serie podcasts van de gesprekken met de meisjes.

NIKKIE X MAKERTING

Designer Nikkie Wester  is gespecialiseerd in cultureel erfgoed. Met Studio Nikkie Wester ontwikkeld ze concepten, textielproducten en textiel voor interieurs.

Makerting werkte samen met Nikkie aan een strategisch kader voor haar communicatie. Zo ontdekte ze welke middelen ze met welke doelstelling kan inzetten. En gaf een jaarplanning voor content – op thema – meer houvast. Ze kreeg zelfs meer lef om te publiceren over haar werk…

Op de foto ‘Duisdoorne blanket’. Design gebaseerd op sokken van haar overgrootvader met een traditioneel Nederlands patroon. Een detail van het patroon is gecombineerd met kleuren van de Nederlandse folklore, in dit geval zwart.

MEREL X MAKERTING

Merel Karhof is een echte expert in wind-design en heeft zo al een reeks objecten gecreëerd; van gestoffeerde meubels tot gebreide sjaals en armbanden. Allen gemaakt met haar ‘Wind Knitting Factory’.

Makerting bracht wind-ontwerper Merel Karhof en fotograaf Charlotte Visser  met elkaar in contact. Deze zomer documenteerde Charlotte Visser de opbouw van de ‘Wind Knitting Factory’ in een weiland bij Edam. Het resulteerde in een prachtige fotoserie en -niet te vergeten- nieuwe wind-gebreide sjaals. De foto’s zijn gebruikt in diverse media, zoals Eigen Huis & Interieur en het Noord Hollands Dagblad, ter promotie van deelname aan het klederdracht festival in het Zuiderzeemuseum.

Makerting helped designer Sanne van de Goor with her project ‘the S + oplap’, formulating the marketing and communication plan as part of her application. In this way Sanne was able to get the specialised marketing advise to promote the project.

Fascinated by the beauty and skills behind Dutch darning samplers designer Sanne van de Goor created the community-oriented project ‘de S+oplap’. A project where she connects the history of darning samplers with present teenagers in Amsterdam. The prints of Sanne were filled by the teenagers with marker, while in the meantime they discussed topics such as independence, manufacturability and perfection. The final installation ‘the S + oplap’ consisted of the padded prints and a series of podcasts with the conversations. See and listen on stoplap.nl

NIKKIE X MAKERTING

Designer Nikkie Wester is specialized in cultural heritage. With her studio she develops concepts, textile products and textiles for interiors.

Makerting worked together with Nikkie on a strategic framework for her communication. She discovered which means of communication she can use depending on the goals. We developed a content calendar (by theme) and she found the courage to write more about her work….

MEREL X MAKERTING

Merel Karhof is a true expert in wind design and has created a series of objects; from upholstered furniture to knitted scarves and bracelets. All made by her ‘Wind Knitting Factory’.

Makerting connected wind designer Merel Karhof and photographer Charlotte Visser. This summer Charlotte documented the construction of the “Wind Knitting Factory” in a meadow near Edam. It resulted in a beautiful photo series and – of course – new wind-knitted scarves. The photos have been used in various dutch media, such as Eigen Huis & Interieur and the Noord Hollands Dagblad, to promote the participation at the traditional costume festival in the Zuiderzee Museum.
