Graag verras en informeer ik mensen over de pracht van de natuur, het liefste in de algemene ruimte, om hen meer deel ervan te laten voelen en er zo meer waardering voor te krijgen. Met mijn oog voor detail en artistieke benadering maak ik illustraties – veelal gebaseerd op wetenschappelijke feiten of onderzoek – die kennis overbrengen. Ik ben altijd op zoek naar mooie samenwerkingen met musea, ontwerpbureaus, uitgevers en wetenschappelijke instellingen met als doel het publiek te informeren over maatschappelijke of duurzaamheid thema’s.

My name is Steffie Padmos, (senior) scientific illustrator, and I have a fascination for people and nature.

I like to surprise and inform people about the beauty of nature, preferably in the common area, to make them feel more part of it and thus gain more appreciation for it. With my eye for detail and artistic approach I make illustrations – often based on scientific facts or research – that convey knowledge. I am always looking for great collaborations with museums, design agencies, publishers and scientific institutions with the aim of informing the public about social or sustainability themes.
