Interessant om te zien hoe isolatie en onthouding zorgt voor reacties en creativiteit in de maatschappij. Veel emoties komen los; van angst tot eenzaamheid en ontwaking. De hele wereld begint online samen te werken, er wordt veel tijd besteed aan het creatief inhaken op de gebeurtenissen. Zo kwam er in reactie op het ‘hamsteren’ wc-rol kunst. En onder de hashtag #tussenkunstenquarantaine op Instagram plaatsten Makers al bijna 30.000 interpretaties van bekende oude kunstwerken.

Makerting is heel benieuwd naar jullie ‘quarantaine-kunst’ en licht graag een aantal werken uit in een artikel op de website, op social media en in de extra nieuwsbrief eind april.

It is interesting to see how isolation and abstinence causes reactions in society. Many emotions are released, from fear to loneliness and awakening. The whole world is starting to work together, a lot of time is spent creatively hooking up to the events. For example, in response to the “hoarding”: toilet roll art. And under the hashtag #tussenkunstenquarantaine on Instagram, Makers have already posted 29.000 recreations of well-known works of art. What is next?
